Our Executive Cabinet

President
Amaya Morgan
The President shall be chief executive of the LBC; all other officers of the executive cabinet shall be responsible to them. They shall have the power of interim appointment of all government members, agents, and officers established under law, 2/3 majority approval of the Senate. They shall set the agenda for LBC. They shall be vested with the authority to preside over executive cabinet meetings, be the spokesperson for LBC, and the chief liaison between the government and the University, fellow organizations, community, and other organizations. -
Vice President
Desmond Jones
The Vice-President presides over all Senate meetings as Speaker of the Senate, act as chief coordinator of all special committees, aid the President in the discharge of their duties, perform all financial inquiries as directed by the President. -
Executive Secretary
Zahara Bailey
The Executive Secretary shall be responsible for recording all executive cabinet minutes and regulating the recordings of Senate proceedings. The Executive Secretary shall be the official custodian of all books, papers, and documents of the Legion of Black Collegians, all of which are to be made available upon request to any Legion of Black Collegians member. He/she shall be responsible for all organization correspondence from the Legion of Black Collegian Executive Branch to other organizations, University departments, and employees, the creation of a master calendar and e-mail list serv, etc.

Political Committee Chair
Eyram Dumor, Chisom Nwodo
Political Chair is dedicated to understanding and addressing the evolving needs of students, faculty, and staff. Responsible for planning, organizing, and promoting events that encourage campus involvement, cultural awareness, and community engagement. Works to keep the university informed and connected by highlighting cultural initiatives, community programs, and campus happenings that foster an inclusive and vibrant university environment. -
Activities Committee
Ashanti Huye, Ivory Carney, Uriyah Nolan
The Activities Chair(s) shall initiate, coordinate, and administer programs and activities for the social, recreational, educational, and cultural life of members of the Legion of Black Collegians. -
Communications Chair
Mirrah Conner
The Communications Chair is responsible for all Legion of Black Collegians publicity and communication. They shall also be responsible for the organization of the annual report to the Big 12 Council on Black Student Government, Legion of Black Collegian newsletter, and an annual African-American student yearbook.

Finance Chair
Name
The Finance Chair is responsible for the fiscal budget of the Legion of Black Collegians. They must keep all records of the Legion’s financial need and ensure there is no overspending through the entire school year. They shall oversee all umbrella organization spending with the approval or denial of sponsorship funds.

Head Big XII Delegate
Kamrin Fry
The Head Big XII Delegate severs as the liaison for the Annual Big XII Conference on Black Student Government. They are responsible for managing conference logistics and maintaining communication with the host school for transitional/planning meetings and delegate tasks. In the event that the University of Missouri hosts the conference, the Head Big XII Delegate shall be responsible for all conference management.

Parliamentarian

The Parliamentarian shall be responsible for all protocol during senate sessions. This individual will be looking to uphold Robert's Rules of Order, dress code, voting sessions, and timing for committee sessions. He/she shall retain the discretion to reprimand or remove any Senator, Representative, or guest. Additionally, this position can be utilized at the discretion of the President and/or advisor each term.
